Thank you for taking a minute to stop by my blog and see what is up in the hospitality world.
I have had extensive experience in the hospitality industry and I believe that I am able to give some of this experience back to the world in way of this blog.
I want to share some of my experiences, short comings, failures, successes, pet peeves, and anything else that I deem necessary and useful to share with you.
Being in the hospitality industry takes a certain breed of people. Not just anyone can be in this line of work, you see.
For example, if you are a cowboy that is used to yelling at the cattle and rounding up ‘them ther varmin’, chances of you putting on a tux and white gloves to serve the higher class of people are pretty slim to none. But that is ok!!! We need some rootin’ tooin’ cowboys in this world and I certainly am not hanging up my white gloves for a pair of dingy brown work gloves.
I want this blog to be able looking into the other side, the back door, if you will, of the hospitality industry. It is time that we pull the curtain back and show the world that it is not as easy as it looks.
Serving snobs and bureaucrats can be a real pain but it is worth it if it is something that you love to do.
Which I do!
